1996 CREAMVIII songs appear in lots of gothic compilations while the trio is working on new stuff, trying to incorporate more progressive rock tendecies.
1997 / 1998 "Touching Ground", the follow-up to "The Emerald Touch" is released on Boris' own record-label resurrec. as is the "Forgiven Live" CD which is recorded on the following tour in 1998 in Belgium.
1999 Jochen leaves the band as he moves to Canada and as personal focusses shifted, the band slowly fades away.
1999-2003 Boris works on solo-projects again such as REPLIKATOR and THE DAWN, but finally decides to resurrect CREAMVIII. Recording begins, Sascha joins in 2003.
2004 CREAMVIII gains a record contract with Sonorium to publish the new album "WINTERTIME". To coincide, CREAMVIII publish "PAST TO THE PAST" a best-of of the first 10 years and "BARE" a very limited acoustic live album. The duo appears on stages throughout Germany and England.
2005 Martin Krötz joins the duo as do Andreas Sonntag on Drums and Rene Schwipperich on Bass. New songs are written, but most of the time is taken up rehearsing for live-appearences. |
